Application Area
Forwarding alarm system reports to monitoring station
The IP Bridge can be connected to any alarm control panel that has a landline communicator and supports the Ademco Contact ID protocol. The module receives the alarm control panel’s reports through a simulated landline and transmits to the monitoring station via mobile Internet.
Enabling communication between devices with an RS232 interface
Remote access to devices with serial ports over the Internet using the transparent serial port on the module and its client application. Linking two IP Bridges together creates two remote serial ports which enable bidirectional transparent data flow through the Internet.
Router supervision in IT systems
The IP Bridge is able to monitor the router connected to it, and restart it with SSH commands or by power feed interruption, or even with the combination of these when it detects a malfunction in its operation. Thereby, it can restore the service automatically, without human intervention.
IP-based control module with IP camera support
The relay outputs of the IP Bridge can be controlled remotely using the mobile application or a browser. Linking multiple IB Bridges together, they are able to control each other’s outputs by events. The module is also able to forward IP camera pictures triggered by events, which makes it suitable for surveillance tasks.
