  • Direct communication with TELLMon receivers through IP
  • Direct communication with SIA DC-09 receivers through IP
  • Direct communication with DTMF receivers through backup GSM call
  • Supported communication protocols: SIA DC-09, TELLMon
  • 1 telephone line output
  • Forwards incoming SMS messages
  • The programming software is available in the built-in USB storage
  • The IP addresses and other settings can be configured by PC and also by SMS
  • Supported operating system: Windows 10

  • It can be used with any alarm systems which are able to report to monitoring stations in Contact ID format, using PSTN landline. Using the adapter, the alarm control panel’s signals are sent to the monitoring station’s IP receiver over the mobile Internet, using SIA IP protocol based on ANSI/SIA DC-09-2007 standard.
  • There is no need for a central server, only an end-point IP receiver with Internet connection is necessary. The adapter is able to communicate with receivers which support the SIA DC-09 or the TELLMon protocol.
  • Forwards the signals to 4 IP addresses, depending on the alarm control panel’s settings.
  • Contact ID communication over GSM voice call in case of IP error.
  • Possibility to send test report to more IP address and continuous monitoring of the connections, for which it evaluates and shows estimated data traffic.
  • Simple visual status display and full status information on PC platform.
  • By connecting the device to a PC, its internal memory acts as a USB drive, on which the programming software and manual are available.

Application area:

Communicator for alarm control panels that converts the DTMF-based Contact ID messages to SIA DC-09 format and sends them towards the remote monitoring receivers through IP channel.

  1. The device is not connecting to the GPRS net. Why?

Check the APN settings, the power supply and power requirements of the module, as well as the GSM antenna connection and signal strength.

  2. It is not possible to read or upload the setting to the device with the programming software. The connection does not get through, or sometimes the downloading stops.

Please power up the module first, after that connect it to the computer.

  3. The module sends a long line of continuous letter / sequence SMS message to the SMS forwarding featured phone number. What is the reason for this?

This phenomenon happens when you do not receive a regular SMS (text) to the phone module, but some kind of a multimedia message (MMS photo) or some other encoded message (for example, encoded Cyrillic letters with accents or other capitalization). An industrial phone module is not able to handle this, that's why the mentioned letters/sequences are converted into Unicode form and are forwarded to your phone (depending on the size of the message 1 MMS can be received in 3 or 4 SMSs). Please note that in this case there is no problem with the device itself, but this phenomenon is caused by the above-described reason. If this occurs regularly, there is a good chance that it is an advertising / marketing message sent by the service provider, which can only be stopped by either asking the service-provider not to send such messages to this given phone number or by turning off the message forwarding function (in the settings: delete the SMS forwarding phone number), if this function is not absolutely necessary.
